I'm giving this place a better rating than i thought i would. the people at breakfast this morning were very helpful to my wife who has a dairy allergy. for hotel breakfasts buffets it was pretty good. i gave the room 4 stars it just seemed a little off but nice. the guy who checked us in should learn to smile a little more. yeah this place is ok
What to say!.......amazing stay! from the minute we got there to the minute we left, the whole stay was faultless! the view from the room! wow, amazing. had a balcony, so i went out with a glass of wine to watch the ships. the reception team were quick and knowledgeable, so friendly. the bar staff was always on hand to help, and nothing was too much. even offered to take my drink up to the room as i had 4 of them. the concierge got us a taxi really quick. felt a little sorry on the sunday morning as they had loads of bags to tag up, but they kept smiling! thank you again, and hopefully, i will be back soon.
Absolutely superb experience at this hotel, our first time visiting for my daughter’s 3rd birthday at peppa pig world nearby. upon arrival the welcome was excellent, the wait times were brilliant and the room was fantastic. there were biscuits and apples at reception, much to my daughter’s delight, and the facilities were great. this hotel looks particularly popular with those who are departing on cruises the following day, which is ideal considering the location. the following morning, the breakfast served was superb and probably one of the best i’ve had at a hotel. couldn’t fault it. the offering was excellent, catered for everyone’s desire and beyond. we would definitely come back here again!
Concierge was great, assisting with large luggage & prearranged taxi the day before we were going on cruise. prearranged taxi made the morning run smoothly. front desk seemed a little dysfunctional. not enough front desk to handle volume of guests checking out. was not provided final bill or receipt for stay. was told i could email them if there was a problem. this isn't normal procedure for hotels. breakfast was okay, nothing special. food at hotel was pricey.
Our stay was ok. the room was spacious (we stayed as a family of 4). travel cot for a baby and extra bed for a toddler was provided, and we still had enough space. staff was polite. breakfast was ok, but no hash browns (this was a disappointment for me personally 😕) the initial allocated room has a cigarette smell! they definitely need better quality control. but, the hotel swiftly changed our room to a new one.
