Decent travelodge - clean rooms, quiet, with friendly staff. unfortunately the car park was full when we arrived - while we did arrive on the later side, the car park is quite small (and easily missed around the back of the building). would recommend the eastgate multi-storey car park rather than the parking in/underneath the travelodge itself - it's only a short walk away.
Very good travelodge, pity happy hour is only on certain drinks (should be on all drinks). tv could be a bit bigger. breakfasts are superb, well done the lady who was clearing up the plates and replenishing the food stuff.
Good for a quick trip or overnight. center city is convenient, but as they describe on their website, noisy. most of the noise comes from the rear alley which is shared by a lower-end apartment block. if the windows are shut, not too bad. if they're open lots of loud interactions by the neighbors very late into the night. then trash collection in the morning. but inexpensive. some extremely helpful and professional staffers. limited free wifi. extra firm bed.
Amazing location, just a few steps away from the centre! we chose it because it's dog friendly. the room was comfortable and the service was good. not luxurious, but unbeatable value.
Friendly staff, breakfast was great, plenty of choice and very fresh. room clean apart from a rusty bin in the bathroom. the bath mat was a little black on the edges and one of the socket faces next to the bed was cracked.. location superb, in the centre but quiet. would stay again.
