Great gym facilities and helpful staff. Thanks to Steve for a brilliant induction session. But the overall experience is let down by the prison showers.

A gym that is located right beside the university. As a student, the monthly fee is 20 pounds per month or an annual fee of 199 pounds for the entire year. It can get really crowded during term time, especially during the peak hours between 3-7pm. I would say the best time to go is during the mornings or lunch time.

The best swimming pool. I've been to many swimming pools, including one of the 2012 Olympic swimming pool in London but there was always something missing: either the water temperature or the changing room or the depth of the swimming pool etc. But this one was the very best. On top of that the staff were amazingly good: very polite, helpful and always cheerful: I don't know how they do that. Me and my son will definitely come back here every time we visit Southampton. Well done. 👍
