La Baronia

We had our Anniversary meal here today and it was lovely! The staff were more than friendly and the food was very tasty and well cooked. We had some pina colada’s too they were super creamy (yum!) I also liked the fact the staff were very accommodating towards my son and made him feel very welcome. It was his first time trying a Mexican place. They done a good range of gluten free dishes and can cater for other allergies. We will definitely visit again.

Lovely food, good portion sizes, and great service. We had the brisket and the fajitas, both were great, would especially recommend the brisket. Also had the flautas to start with were fantastic and came with a great sauce. Servers were friendly, helpful, and attentive. One starter, two mains, and a soft drink came to £46

Had a lovely 2 course meal here. Server was very friendly and accommodating. There were 3 of us, myself, my fiancée and her 7 year old son. All had different meals and all great and well served. Starters were quesadilla, carnitas and Nachos. All cooked to perfection. Main courses were mole rojas, prawn fajitas, that wasn't on the menu as gluten free but they made it for us, which we appreciated. And the children's main was chicken tacos. No complaints from any of us as we all enjoyed them. Washed down with well made pina coladas. Except for the apple juice for the child lol. Would certainly recommend for a great Mexican meal in Southampton, and I'm sure we will go back again!

Visited for the first time - the restaurant is beautiful, the cocktails are so tasty and the FOOD is excellent! I had the pulled beef enchilada, a margarita and a mojito and they were all 10/10! Friendly staff and amazing food and drink. Recommending to all of my friends! Also great Latin playlist with Bad Bunny etc - would love to come again with my girls for drinks.

We came to La Baronia in the afternoon and it was completely empty other than staff. We got seated and had good service as the employees happily answered any questions we had. The menu had some great vegetarian options for each type of food they served. The decorations are also very cool! The food didn’t take too short or long of a time to come to our table and once we got the food, it tasted fresh and very good. It may not be authentic but it was nice and we were satisfied. The only things that could’ve made the experience better would be having more places for parking, making sure the steak is cooked the way it was asked for and adding more variety to the menu. Also, lowering the prices or offering some complimentary tortilla chips would be a nice change as although the food was nice, most of the food was definitely not worth the price. 4.3/5
