Franco Manca Southampton

I had an incredible experience at Franco Manca last Sunday evening! Their authentic sourdough pizza was a delightful surprise, and the garlic dip from Asia’s recommendation was hands down the best I've ever tasted. The service was warm and inviting, making me feel very special. Highly recommend!

I really wish I could echo the positive reviews of other guests. Honestly, 5 star for the food, portion size, flavour, choice and the venue setting. Not good impression of the staff who did not seem to like the amount of customers they had. We tried to catch their eyes many times so we could order but seemed impossible. So surprising really as they have chosen to be in the service industry! We eventually had to go and ask for our order to be taken (turned out that was the manager)as they hadn’t checked on us in around 30 minutes. I do not often leave negative reviews as I do try to see positives or put it down to the busyness of the restaurant. The food came out in a flash! My friend was a member of staff at a different restaurant and got discount, they weren’t even nice to her! Annoyingly I would go back as the food was so so good but really hope the service is different next time! Up your game guys it’s really not hard to crack a smile even when it is busy :)

Great pizza for an equally great price. We went for the ham and mushroom, and the chorizo. The pizzas are fresh out the oven, with a perfect base and flavourful tomato sauce. Toppings look sparse at first but they're just the right amount. The homemade lemonade is a must, though it's a little in the pricier side, but is worth a try. The tiramisu was good too, perhaps a little soft/wet for tiramisu but tasty nonetheless.

We ordered a no.7 (quite spicy), a no.9 (very different), and a sharing cured meats platter. The portions are very generous & the atmosphere is very cosy. You can also see the pizzas being made! There were also multiple vegan options available. The staff were very friendly and checked up on us a lot. It was all very delicious and I will definitely return when I'm in the mood for pizza!
