Stellar Removals and Storage

After the initial enquiry and quote, jimmy helped us move at very short notice. the team on the day were extremely efficient and very helpful on what turned out to be a stressful situation with delays on completing. i don’t plan on moving anytime soon however if i do, stellar removals will be my first call and i’ll be recommending them to friends and family in the future!

Marvellous service from start to finish! after being let down by another removal company stellar couldn't have been better! communication was great, quick quotation and easy payment process. when it came to the move all items were packed extremely well with no damages in sight. everyone was extremely courteous and worked with us throughout the move even when we changed plans of items to be moved. thanks so much again and would highly recommend!

Rod and i have moved all over the world during our 46 years together so we have experienced being moved by many removal companies. jimmy and his team went way beyond any service we have experienced before. from first contact, then a change of plan, to packing up our 4 storey town house, storing for 2 days and then delivering to our new home everything went smoothly and harmoniously. our furniture and precious artwork and other treasured possessions were packed in a logical order with great care. as we unpack these we feel such gratitude. what most stood out, though, was the care and kindness shown to us by jimmy and his staff - nothing was too much trouble and we were left with piles of boxes with a smile on our faces despite the stress of the whole moving experience. exemplary service does not do it justice!

Stellar removals were recommended to us by a highly regarded local firm who were unavailable on our moving day. jimmy responded quickly to our call and agreed a very reasonable price with no hidden extras. jimmy and curtis came promptly on our packing day and worked very efficiently, packing all our contents very securely. on moving day, jimmy overcame a staff sickness problem and was ably assisted by byron and deacon. everything was on the truck by 12 noon but unfortunately we didn’t get the keys to the new house until 5pm. jimmy and colleagues were willing to stay as long as it took, but offered the alternative option of setting up the essentials for the first night and returning with the rest on the next day, if we preferred them not to work late. we opted to finish the job, and everything was in the new house around 8pm. stellar cheerfully overcame problems with getting large wardrobes down a difficult staircase at our old house. they also happily took out and disposed of some fittings at the new house which were getting in the way of our planned layout. we preferred stellar to the larger regional and national firms we have used previously - they score on price, flexibility, eagerness to please, calmness, courtesy and sheer hard work. if ever we were mad enough to move again, we would call jimmy. he and his colleagues are good people to have around at a tough time.

I was so pleased with jimmy and the team who moved us from the south to the midlands in april. i immediately felt at ease when jimmy came over to do the quotation (i love jimmy he’s so kind) they were all professional and really cared about us and our belongings. it was lovely to get to see him twice when he had to drop the rest of our belongings up to us (we had a nice chat over tea and biscuits) i would highly recommend stellar removals to anyone. nothing felt stressful at all and the day of completion was all calm and timely. they all work so so hard yet still manage to laugh and joke. thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making moving a calm and pleasant experience. would use again in a heartbeat and so much better than these big corporate companies that just want to do a video call for a survey and lack the humour and personality. good luck jimmy and the team, you are amazing !
