Atmosphere and food were lovely. The staff when we arrived were very informative and showed us all the different ranges of meat & fish that had been caught around the world. The food & presentation was spot on. It got a bit busy towards the end of the meal and perhaps not enough staff to accommodate all the customers, we ended up skipping dessert as it took so long. Either way quality was good and we'll be back.

We went here for my husband’s birthday and we are both very happy with our experience. It is definitely high end prices and we were prepared for that as we’ve looked at the menu and read the reviews prior to booking. The room is cozy and elegant but not pretentious. The service was already great initially and it continued to just get better. The host/server showed us the available items off menu and went over the expectations for the meals, how some are cooked, etc. We decided to order the mixed steak selection with the additional Japanese Wagyu, a few sides, and a bottle of Malbec. It was me, my husband, and 4 year old son and the meal was definitely big enough for all for us to share, granted that my son ate pretty well that night. When our order came out, I was disappointed that it was overcooked although we have ordered medium. I let our host and server know and they were very kind and apologetic about it. I appreciate that they advocated for us and made sure that we had a great dining experience. They took away the platter and replaced it with a better one that certainly met our expectations. Not only did they served us freshly grilled steak, but they also served us fresh sides too, which was beyond what we expected. The food quality was great, although my husband feels he should have ordered the wagyu to be medium rare rather than medium, but the rest of the steak however— everything was impeccable. The flavors were excellent and I didn’t find it too overpowering. Normally I find my jaws getting tired from chewing this amount of steak but their steak was not chewy at all. It was cooked perfectly this time around. The rocket salad with parmesan was my favorite side, I didn’t expect much as I’ve been served really bland ones across UK but this one certainly did not disappoint. We are delighted with the meal and the service that we will definitely be coming back. At the end of our meal, they brought out a lovely panacotta and sang happy birthday to my husband. Please note the photo I posted is the first platter that they took away. Ocean Grill is definitely not somewhere you could just go to on a regular, given the price range, but if you decide to go on a special occasion, I would say it’s quite worth the price. There is something about their service that just adds a little more extra to what they already offer. Big thanks to our servers and chef that made my husband’s birthday very memorable for all 3 of us.

Lovely ambiance, scallops & steak cooked really well. Ordered surf & turf with a whole lobster because its a special dinner. Menu with half a lobster is £55 so add £25 to get a whole lobster. Something happened with half of the lobster so they replaced it with a prawn instead without asking me 1st if I would like that so this for me is not a good customer service. Don't just assume that customers are ok with replacing something if its not available. I could have just returned the prawn but its already been cooked and on my plate so I thought it's a waste if I return the prawn. Pls next time check with your customers coz you can't uncook something!

Fantastic. Had some amazing scallops (quite hot), the best seafood risotto and a lovely chocolate orange cheesecake. Staff were all very attentive and we even had a free showing of the flambé on the table next to us. Highly recommended.

Excellent meal. Had the one of the best ribeye steaks I've ever had here! For some reason it was better than the t-bone, filet and even the Wagyu steaks that my friends had. Highly recommend the chorizo rigatoni as well. Generally, I would say the wagyu wasn't quite worth the price but delicious nonetheless.
