The Jetty

Apr 23; first time at the southampton venue. nice food, acceptable wait. small tables, for 2. there's not much to say as nothing is obviously outstanding, but it wasn't an uncomfortable visit. not a wide menu for seafood bizzarly.

Scenic restaurant right at the harbour with a beautiful view despite some rain. great course menu with plenty of wonderful dishes. i especially loved the ice cream dessert at the end with a fun twist. the cocktail was very nice as well.

Had the tasting menu. 5 courses, well cooked, great flavour but some courses (soup and main) diminutive portion sizes. some ingredients like mussels, potatoes and red mullet are cheap, so why be mean? won't be going back - there are better places to spend your cash.

Brilliant food with great service. the location is nice with a relaxed feel. i would definitely recommend, especially if you like fish but great options if you don't too!

The jetty has a lovely atmosphere and interior with superb views. the food was incredible, a diverse variety on the new menu and the plating was excellent. i was a big fan of the cheeky pig and belly starter and the rhubarb sorbet on the deserts menu was fabulous! we visited on a saturday night and the service was very impressive, friendly and attentive staff - in particular kristine. definitely recommend if you're looking for a lovely meal out or if celebrating an occasion. we will definitely return! thank you to the whole team!
