Cattle Steakhouse

Very good food. love the lamb chops, the steak with cattle style seasoning and the buffalo chicken burger was great too.

Medium-well ribeye steak was surprisingly good (but that is expected for a steakhouse). interior could do with an upgrade and the service was lacking (my plate was taken before i had finished my food)!

I would say that, what i had which was the 'dirty cow' was very well made lovely taste and so spicy if you like your spicy food go for it. presentation could be done in a better way and maybe adding more green to the dish, the mix grill was simple, didn't expect just three pieces of lamb chops and three chicken, could add more to the grill make it more of a grill mix . right my downside was the cocktails!! :( i was looking forward to my zombie drink, i'm not sure why it has alot of cinnamon ontop? and why it even had it, and the size of the glass ?? was small , i have had this drink more then one place , and its better presented and more too it then what came out. also the drinks took forever to come out after asking few times which i didn't get why as it wasn't so busy and didn't look like it took long to make what's been given. didn't bother with other cocktails as the second choice was returned due to taste. the atmosphere was nice due to being with friends, music choice played was also a good vibe too the place , lovely decoration on ceiling good for photos, outdoor shisha nice and chilled.

Was looking for a quality steakhouse in southampton and this popped up on the map. the server said they take pride in serving the best steak in town and he wasn't wrong. so cattle comes on a sizzling plate and beef on normal. ordered beef fillet. beautiful seasoning, good presentation, perfectly cooked to my like sides were equally delicious. nice drinks. the interior could do with a little redo. booths are too narrow to sit in. otherwise great experience with food and will be back for more soon !

Went with some friends last friday and it was not busy as we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time and then some other people came. i ordered the honey buffalo chicken wings with sweet potato fries and a sprite which came together to just under £14. in my honest opinion the price of the meal did not reflect the worth of the food, the portion sizes of the wings were very small, only 4 wings, the chips were nicely seasoned but could have been a lot more. the atmosphere was made better by being with friends however at one point one of the servers kept continually banging on the counter trying to break something, which didn’t help the already dull atmosphere. the person who served us was nice and attentive though so that is a plus. then again we did go at around 7pm and apparently the restaurant is more lively during the night. if you do want to come here, be ready to spend a bit of money for quite a filling meal however there may be other places that can give bigger portions with lower or the same price and a better atmosphere all the time and not just at night. may return back here but only with friends.
