Nice restaurant but it’s expensive compared of the food they offer ( breakfast)

What an experience this place was... we were seated almost immediately on arrival and had a drinks order and food order taken quite quick then it took over an hour for our starters to arrive ! and then halfway through our starters our mains arrived and the staff were like tryna fit it all on the table at the same time and it was a whole mess of a system the chefs clearly were arguing audibly throughout the restaurant and then the owner (i assume) was tryna sort it all out and eventually offered us free dessert luckily we had a waitress who was very self aware of the chaos which lightened things for us and the starters were incredible but clearly our mains were left on the grill too long as they were all a little over done overall would not go again , but thanks to that waitress for easing the chaos

First time here, came with colleagues for my leaving meal. welcome was amazing, seated very quickly. drinks order taken and delivered with speed. food came quickly and was delicious. we all paid separately and this didn't phase them! waiter came over to see if we enjoyed our meal which was a very personal touch to the end of our experience. would highly recommend for meat eaters and vegetarians alike

Great service and customer care. the food was the best i ever had in a while. each meat had its own unique taste. would definitely recommend coming here and experiencing the fine food

Southampton needs more places like this. i have been to restaurants all over europe and this reminds me of those - fast service, courteous waiting staff and reasonable prices. superb building and decor. also great entertainment in the form of a swing singer in the courtyard. highly recommended.
