Companion Care Vets Southampton

I contacted Companion Care Vets due to having a poorly bearded dragon who sadly had to be put to sleep, despite him not being registered at this vets, they were willing to add us/him onto their system and all of the staff have been very caring during a difficult time. Flexible with payment options too. I now have my boy back with me. I would definitely recommend this vets to others. Thank you so much! x

Took good care of my very ill bunny, with clear instructions and day care, I was relieved she was left in a good place,medication explained clearly and with nice nurse.

Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at the vets. We took my extremely poorly hamster here to be put down as we knew it was time. The receptionist got things confused with the vet and the vet was rude and very patronising to the point I left the room and cried! She said the hamster was fine but refused to even take her out the carrier. This was because the hamster was under a year old. She believed I wanted to put a healthy hamster down and didn’t believe she was my hamster because I’m a young adult and needed my ID. We ended up having another vet look at her which confirmed she was in heart failure. I’ve never felt so little at a place that’s suppose to be comforting. Never using this place again.

My dog receives excellent care and bizarrely enjoys visiting. I suspect it's being the centre of attention he enjoys. But they care for me too, if it's a difficult visit, such as dog seriously unwell, they never forget to make sure I am ok too. Many companies that should have a customer focus and even the NHS could learn so much from this practice.

Both Ruth and Alice are amazing vets - so gentle, kind and thorough with everything they do. Great at answering any questions, follow ups and genuinley care about the animals they see. Always taken care of well by the receptionists and the nurses behind the scenes too, wouldn't take my pets anywhere else
