Albans Lakes

Albans lake, proper tackle shop and car park, a lot of proper carps on Match lake. Waggler Fishing is the best method in the summer.

This is clearly a centre for fishing but since there are many public paths it's possible to walk, run and probably cycle here. From that perspective it's a decent enough place to visit although some of the footpaths are a bit overgrown and the views are nothing special.

Lovely fishery, absolutely delightful. Plenty of places to fish, more than enough space for each angler, clean, open, shadow if needed and also nice fishes, not as big as we expected from what we seen caught by us and the other anglers but nice nonetheless. First time here, on Farm Lake and deffo coming back again.
