Awesome food and a great beer garden. They have a selection of their own ales and the service was fairly good. Everyone I was with really enjoyed their meal, so definitely the spot for good pub grub in St Albans.

The food here was delicious! All four of us enjoyed our selections; I wish we could have returned for another visit, but our time in England was limited. The young lady behind the bar was very nice and patient with us first timers to a pub.

I've been coming to this pub for more than 10 years and have never been disappointed. I've seen it change hands multiple times and even then the quality of service, the food and drinks hadn't dropped in it's standards. …
