Welwyn Roman Baths

Took my 3 year old daughter for a visit today. She was completely engaged throughout. A wonderfully put together museum that is suitable for all ages. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This must rate as one of the most unusual Roman baths to visit... under the A1. Excellent interpretation and enthusiastic staff and volunteers.

We had a really interesting visit to the Welwyn Roman Baths made all the more special by Freddy who gave us a tour and shared lots of knowledge about the site, its history and the process of uncovering the remains and protecting them from the A1 and preserving them for future generations. Highly recommended as a very interesting visit.
