I used to frequent this place many years ago when traditional Landlord and lady ran it, Jack & Beryl, much like the Rovers Return back then, full of locals and regulars. Been a few times since then and it's still a busy sociable pub. Unique perhaps that one small room is accessible only through the bar service area. Always worth a visit.
What a lovely pub... Totally dog friendly and the staff were amazing. My partner had the shepherd's pie that's in the picture. We can't thank the staff enough for the welcome and fuss they made of our dog also. We don't live in the area but …
