Ryhope Engines Museum

End of season steam weekend . Historic pumping station for water . The volunteers are friendly and helpful and do great job in keeping it running . Plenty of parking , Toilets and cafe . It's a must to go and see the engineers skill and strength of days gone by . Poetry in motion

If you like historical places t his is a good place to go to nice couple of hours out very informative there are no disabled parking spaces you park on the grass there are no toilets as well

We visited twice last weekend when the engines were running. It is an excellent place to visit if you like historical engines. The staff were very helpful and explained the engines and boilers in detail. There was an exhibition on with old army vehicles and equipment which was a good bonus.
