Wonderful park. Large and open, even on busy days you can walk for a while without encountering anyone else. Beautiful bird ponds and a great view of Penshaw Monument.

The playground is great for kids. It's not getting the full 5 stars as it can get very uddy and full of puddles, even at the height of summer. The rest of the park is great for walks, there are toilet facilities and a café.
