Called in here after getting off tram as staying near by. It was welcoming and we enjoyed our evening here

A must prematch. Sure there are other places but this is a proper sing song so if you want to learn a few new ones, go here. Beer is decently priced, nothing silly. Washrooms are a bit rough but what do you expect.

It's a fine pub if you're nearby. The atmosphere is generally OK on non-match days for a pub that mainly serves the football crowd. There is a lack of hand pumps for ales sadly.
