Wakefield Museum

A really lovely space to let kids wander around in and explore. It’s only small but you definitely could spend an hour here if you had some time you needed to kill. The library upstairs is lovely too.

A fine example of a good local museum. There's lots of interesting items and displays telling the story of Wakefield and its people. There's plenty to appeal to families with young children, too. An enjoyable trip down memory lane!

Lovely clean museum. Interesting to look at the things they have and good they have an activity area for the kids. Staff friendly. Worth having a look
