City of Wakefield Golf Club

This course has always been ok but the last 2 years i feel they have really put a lot of effort into making this course better. Bias as my local course but not many better council courses around, if any.

A top "muni". Probably in the best condition I have seen it and I have played there, (sporadically), since 1991. A great assett for Wakefield.

Not a bad course at all. I managed to get a twilight offer so it cost me about £10 for the full 18 holes. The fairways and greens were in a decent condition. Caught up with a three ball in front of me who were very friendly and invited me to play with them. Would recommend for the money.
