Southern Washlands

We have been around this area a few times now to walk the dogs but the first time at this location. There is a nice walk down to the canal and a pub to visit at the end. There are lots of boats moored up along the canal and plenty of room to sit outside the pub

A lovely shaded walk around the dam & woodlands beneath Heath Village. Takes roughly 1 hour at walking pace, but you need to criss over the Blue Bridge which may cause access issues for those with mobility difficulties. Great, safe walk for dogs & occasionally spotting wildlife (foxes & deer)

There is a circular walk here, about a mile in length I think. The ground is fairly solid (if you wanted to take a buggy / pram), and there is a car park (although it appears to be currently closed while being refurbished. There's not as many areas to see the water as you would perhaps expect but there is a view point for the Hydro.
