Hayhead wood

Great lovely large fields to walk and let the dog have a great run around in streams and fields and woods to play n run!

Former airfield now converted into a nature reserve. Good for dog walking. Some events held during the year. Burger van in side road opposite Longwood lane entrance.

Beautiful footpath along the now redundant canal extension, lots of wildlife including now parakeets who you can hear before seeing. The only problem around here are the men meeting in the woods playing sausage jockeys, normally only in the summer time as too cold for the sausage in winter.
