The Forties Experience

Had a wonderful day here. Soooo friendly both staff and volunteers. Had me laughing on and off all afternoon. Very informative but also fun and on top of all that some brilliant music from The Mustangs. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic small living museum. Lots of rooms and exhibits to look at (and the model railway shed was open too) for a good few hours. Had a ride in an army jeep, a very interesting air raid bunker experience and saw the Mustangs playing. …

What an unexpected joy. Low-key museum run by volunteers and enthusiasts, but so evocative of era. Well done all.
