Yates Fish and Chips

Theres fish 'n' chips places then there's Yates which without a doubt a traditional fish 'n' chips place. The way they are supposed to be. All others are 2nd best. Yates is clearly the number 1

Came from Liverpool on a friends recommendation for the best chippy in Wigan and wasn’t disappointed. Lovely lady explained to me what ‘baby’s ed and pee wet’ was so got that plus sausage chips curry and black pudding fritter. It was delicious. Would come back again for the great food and friendly staff.
