St Barbe Museum & Art Gallery

The museum and art gallery is small but worth a visit to learn the history of Lymington and surrounding areas. The cafe is delightful and service is excellent. Tried the lentil daal soup, it didn't disappoint and is very well priced. Highly recommended cafe in Lymington.

Had a couple of hours to fill in Lymington. Chanced on the museum very close to the car park. Very friendly and helpful staff, an excellent attached café and quirky shop. The exhibits were reasonably limited to local interests but …

We love this place - and are happy to drive for two hours to reach it! The exhibitions are imaginatively curated and beautifully presented - and the café is a little gem. Really lovely staff, too.
