Shah Jahan Mosque

Alhamdulillah, got an opportunity to visit th3 first ever masjid of UK, Shahjahan Masjid Based in Woking. Such a beautiful architecture and wonderful piece of Work ❤️

Beautiful mosque. Really well looked after - surprisingly small from the inside. Probably has capacity for about 60-70 people max. I believe most prayers now happen in the larger hall which is located at the back of the site.

Historic mosque in Woking being the first purpose built mosque in Britain. Built in 1889 it was built in the same year as Britain's first mosque in Liverpool which was a converted house. This one was architect designed in the Mughal style. …
