I recently dined at this restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. the menu had a delightful array of dishes, and i must say, the "dilshad special biryani" from the biryani section was a standout. the flavors were exquisite, and the tender, perfectly spiced chicken made it a dish to remember. additionally, i tried the "chicken curry" from the traditional dishes section, and it was simply delicious. the rich, aromatic sauce paired with tender chicken pieces was a true delight for my taste buds. to complement these amazing dishes, i couldn't resist ordering the "naan bread," which was warm, soft, and served with a side of fresh, flavorful dips. dilshad indian restaurant truly lived up to its name, offering an exceptional dining experience. the flavors, service, and ambiance make it a must-visit for anyone looking to savor authentic indian cuisine.
I've been a few times now, and every time it's been lovely! being a fussy eater, they really do go above and beyond. a big thank you to soyful and his team! i'm looking forward to my next visit already!!
Despite being in wolverhampton numerous times, have not noticed this restaurant before. the staff were attentive and my chicken tandoori and more was freshly cooked and beautifully presented. a real delight at a reasonable price. also do just eat / takeaway
On arrival the restaurant looked dated and looked like it was still being renovated mid service, the staff were friendly and polite, the food is where it really let itself down, the starter was okay, the shik kebab was full of flavor, the chicken coronation wrap wasn't very tasty. when it comes to the mains that looked really good and looked like they would be full of flavors and spices, unfortunately this isn't the case i would have said it tasted very bland, the balti didn't contain much chicken and it definitely didn't have any sort of spice to it, the dilshad special looked great and smelt good, but yet again the taste just wasn't there. i would try this place again to see if it was just a bad day. i would recommend this place but i would ask for tasters or try a few different dishes in small quantities.
