A great little place in it's day. we came before as we recalled it being a great experience. you can tell that this side of wolverhampton has seen better days. i suppose we are all in it together. lasagna wasn't fresh. came out the oven from frozen. bland. mains were superb and fresh. sparked off memories of what it was. mains consisted of a top notch carbonara and a pollo chicken. mind the spelling. service was quiet. must be feeling the strain as when asked he said quiet which reflected in the restaurant. lots of potential and hopefully back to normal next time we come round.
Honestly, the food here is too class. came here after trying to decide where to eat for a few hours, and when we finally agreed on italian this was our go too, and it was not the wrong choice. didn't book a table, although we probably should have as the place was very busy, but the food is some of the best italian food out there! can't wait to come back, the service was also really good too.
Excellent food, good atmosphere , and good service . a meal very much enjoyed and look forward to the next visit.
5.20pm thursday. food very nicely cooked and presented, reasonably priced. quiet evening with one member of floor staff who took order, served food poured drinks, gave us our bill...he did everything !! no nonsense service. restaurant nice and tidy but soooo cold and music bit too loud for amount of people in there. would visit again maybe on busier night /time. would recommend as price was reasonable for what we had.
