A & Em Nails

So I used this nail shop around 2 weeks ago, making an appointment was really easy and you can do this over Facebook. I made my appointment for 1 o'clock on a school day thinking this will be a quiet time to come, after arriving late due to parking issues I walked in to find there was no space at any of the nail desks due to them running behind. This wasn't a big issue as I had pretty much all day. I was sitting there while a man was doing 3 other ladies nails on his own moving from on to the other . when it came to do my own nails he seemed to be a little put off as I had shorter nails and I was looking for a shorter nail. He began prepping the nails and seemed to be in a bit of a rush as he was already doing 3 women's nails. He then got another nail artist to take over to shape the nails, this person took little care with my nails and seemed to also be in a rush. I then had 4 other artist come and do a little bit on my nails and then leave with no explanation. Finally someone painted the nails for me and took some pride in doing this. By the time in was walking out of the salon it was around 5 o'clock. My nails took a lot longer than expected, if one artist had just stuck to doing my nails they would of been done a lot faster and they could of got more people out of the salon. I had to explain to 5 artists what I wanted which was a hassle. Not the most relaxing experience as they had clearly overbooked. walked away with beautiful nails, they just need to work on how long they take and how many people work on one set of nails. They have lasted well considering my nails underneath were bitten and short.

Great nail salon! The staff are welcoming, friendly and take their time while doing your nails. They are also very thorough, ensuring your nails are prepped well, same lengths etc. The salon is also clean and tidy. It does get quite busy though but you can book to avoid disappointment. Would definitely recommend

I went with my sister and we had not got an appointment. We were waiting only around 15 minutes and it was very busy but they accommodated us very well. Unfortunately 2 of the nail colours we wanted were not available but they were very helpful in offering alternatives. Very happy with our nails, beautiful colour and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and will be going again.
