Care2recruit have been great - i regularly liaise with them, either via phone or email, and they often contact me just to check in, see how i am and offer support in any way they can! any issues surrounding the role i am to be placed in (on the actual employers side) have been dealt with quickly and effectively, and the team are always very informative. thanks a lot to karl and shannon, you have been amazing and i am looking forward to starting next week :-)
Care2recruit are fantastic. they emailed me a job that was perfect for me. i sent my cv and within a day i had an interview set up. they helped me with my application form and continuously kept in contact with me throughout the whole process. i even got a good luck text message the morning of my interview. i found out shortly after that i had been successful and i was over the moon. it’s great to hear feedback which is something i got. i was beyond happy with my experience. after i got the job i was supported through every step and they made sure the process was fast. i’ve never experienced that before. everyone was so nice to me. you can tell they care about their jobs and truly helping people. it’s been great. i would highly recommend anyone to use care2recruit because they really do care about finding you the right job. i’m so happy.
Working with care-2-recruit has been an awesome journey. no bad experience so far and hopefully there will be none.
Amazing company to work for, it's so flexible you can pick and choose what hours suits you best. all staff members at care2recruit go above and beyond, cannot fault anyone. especially, arshey & hannah as they are amazing, they were so helpful, consistent and professional throughout the progress of the application.
I first contacted care2recruit on 23 january 2026 after receiving an email from megan regarding opportunities within the children’s home sector. i sent my cv on 27 january 2026 and initially found megan to be professional and polite. shortly afterwards i became unwell with a virus and was unable to leave my home for over a week. during this time megan contacted me about a local role and asked about my availability. i clearly explained that i was only available thursday and friday that week as i needed time to recover and had prior commitments. i was later told that i had stated wednesday, which i know was not correct. although i gave the benefit of the doubt, this created confusion. the day before the interview i was sent a lengthy application form, which felt last minute given the time such applications require to complete. despite still being unwell, i completed it within a few hours to avoid missing the opportunity. on the day of the interview, prior to me contacting megan to explain that i was still unwell, i received a text message containing only the address. this left very little time to prepare for an in person interview and felt disorganised. i subsequently requested for the interview to be conducted via microsoft teams due to my health, and to megan’s credit she liaised with the home and this was accommodated. during the interview i was informed that the agency would receive feedback the following afternoon. after not hearing anything, i chased for updates several times that week but received no communication. as this timeline had been set by the home during interview, i was simply following up based on what i had been told. after contacting carrie to express my concerns about the lack of communication and that i felt i had been ghosted, i received a call from megan. during this call she appeared frustrated that i had spoken to her colleague. i explained that i had previously experienced similar situations with recruiters where communication had stopped, which is why i felt concerned. megan stated that it had only been two days and reiterated that she was not ghosting and had other clients. while i understand recruiters manage multiple candidates, i felt my concerns were dismissed rather than acknowledged. the tone of the call felt defensive and condescending, which i found unprofessional. to date, i have still not received formal feedback. i am also aware of another candidate who interviewed through the same recruiter and has similarly not received feedback. this suggests that the issue may not be isolated. overall, the experience demonstrated a lack of consistent communication and accountability. recruitment within the care sector should reflect the values of transparency, respect and person centred practice. candidates invest significant time and effort into applications and interviews and should be treated with courtesy and kept appropriately informed. unfortunately, this experience has left me disappointed.
