Recycle York (Bike Shop)

Went in because i lost the keys to a lock stuck on my bike frame, and had issues with my front tire. a lovely guy called luke sorted out all those issues quickly, helpfully, and at a low price. bought my bike from here around 6-7 months ago, and have to say all the staff (including the star of the day luke) are always great and helpful.

Thanks luke! brilliant service - so helpful and super friendly, got my bike fixed with a new tyre fit and found a jump bike for my son for a brilliant price. very happy! editing for another visit today by my son who needed some custom work on his new (re-cycle) bike to fit some stunt pegs - massive thank you to brad who sorted this out for him and made him feel super comfortable - it was his first time going to the bike shop by himself and he was a little nervous (i was on the phone with him the whole time and could hear how helpful the guys were with him). thank you so much for helping a young person build their independence and confidence - great place all round.

Friendly staff, repaired my bike quickly and efficiently. i got my bike from here before too. was a really good price, especially for the brand. would definitely recommend if you are looking for good value for money and everyone working there is lovely :) very happy

I recently went to the free bike maintenance workshop at the recycle project cic, ran by mark from recycle. i took my own bike that i bought from the lovely folks at recycle a few years back, mark was really friendly and took me through some of the basics of bike maintanence, he even helped me replace a cable causing me issues switching gears. i'll definitely be using recycle again for my bike repairs/purchases. thanks for a great workshop!

Luke was a typical friendly yorkshireman. he went straight to the bike that was perfect for my 13 year old son. sorted out with bike, helmet, spare inner tubes and repair kit all within budget. happy days 😎😎
