Longboat Table Table

It seemed to be a bit of a strange place. The first time they asked me to wait for a table for 30 minutes but there were plenty of free tables, I think half of them. The next day I was able to get a table right away and everything was going ok, but when I ordered another beer they probably forgot about it and I had to ask again after waiting for 10 minutes. Finally I was asked if I'm done, when I said "almost" , a waiter answered that I have a few more minutes. It sounded like I had to finish all I have within a few minutes. Never experienced this before. Do you guys have some time limit for dinner?

Had a perfect cooked Steak. Meal was generous in the extreme. Waitress was exceptionally friendly and helpfull. Answered all our queries about Yorks transport system etc. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

OMG the food was delicious! Piri Piri chicken was lovely and spicy and my husband loved his steak and ale pie. Lovely and hot and served by a friendly waitress.

Very homely restaurant attached to the Premier Inn. Staff lovely and food always quick, well prepared, and fresh. Enjoyed dinner here whilst staying for work a few nights and everything we tried was perfect! Only downside is a slight lack of vegetarian choices overall - but, the ones they have are very very good!

Tried their Sunday roast and wasn't disappointed for the price. Bear in mind it is 1 plate only and you can't go for refills (I believe there is an additional price for that). What makes this a not so overtly positive review is that, while some dishes were very good, some were inedible. The gammon for example was very juicy and the potatoes fluffy, but the beef was overcooked and super dry. As I said, bordering on inedible. The place itself is nothing special, you can tell it has pretty sterile hotel vibes, which makes it quite anonymous.
