Chimney Sweep York

We’re so pleased with the work that ian has done on our log burner, it looks like new! i wish that i had taken a before picture, as he went to a lot of effort making sure that it was perfect and it really shows.

Ian was great from start to finish. it's the first time we have had the chimney swept as we've recently moved in, he not only did an amazing job of cleaning the fire, he also explained how to use the fire to get the most efficiency. his professional knowledge has really helped us keep the fire in good condition so far and we aren't burning through as much wood as we used to! thank you ian, we will be in touch again next year!

Ian was very friendly, helpful and professional. he unblocked a chimney that had been boarded up for at least 15 years, full of twigs and debris, for a very reasonable price. he gave really useful advice on how to restore the original fireplace that we'd unearthed behind the boards. a great service. would thoroughly recommend and will definitely use again.

Ian is a very skilled and thorough sweep. i have a woodburner and have used ian for a couple of years now, he does a good job on the chimney sweeping and the burner always looks better for a bit of sprucing up. he's reliable and prices are competitive, would absolutely recommend.

I had a bit of a dilemma with our fire and i rang ian to see if he could have a look at the problem, he fitted us into his busy work schedule because he didn't want us to go without a fire in the recent cold snap. ian came and swept our chimney for the first time and to be honest (in a few years), he gave me some good advice on how to look after the fire and to keep it running at peak performance (it's not just about chucking the wood in the burner). i will be definitely using ian again and i will be booking him in early spring time, to say i basically found ian and chimney sweep york blindly i'm really happy and i would recommend him to anyone.
