Walmgate Bar Launderette

Sam is the best! we were traveling through york and needed laundry done in a day. we dropped it at 11am and by 1:30 he rode his bike to meet us downtown and deliver our laundry. it was all folded and perfectly clean. highly recommend!!!

Great service! our hotel staff recommended this launderette and i was very pleased. dropped our clothes off around 10:30 am, went to the national railway museum and picked everything up around noon. nicely cleaned, sorted, folded and bagged and ready to head out to durham! i highly recommend this business

Staff were extremely helpful & did a wonderful job for us. we were travelling around uk & in need of some clothes to be washed. they were closing but took our washing, and it was returned to our hotel within a few hours. they went above & beyond to help us. we really appreciate your efforts. cheers mick

Wonderful experience! the owner came and picked up our 3 sacks of laundry at 9 am. it was delivered back to us at 1:30 pm all washed, dried and neatly folded! photo of his shop and bike when we passed by on our york city walls walk 😊

We found walmgate bar via google and would agree with all of the great reviews that sam does a great job with laundry. our laundry was well taken care of and returned to us at the hotel, which made our life very easy. it is located at the walmgate bar stop via the hop on and off, and we actually took our laundry with us on the bus to drop. sam gave us the best map and tour information that we found in york and pointed out the best places to walk the wall and pointed out some of the best museums. we really appreciated his advice and time.
