Ambrosia Greek street food York

Fantastic place! Their spinach-cheese bougatsa probably the best lunch I’ve had in York centre — perfect combination of hearty, fresh, wholesome. Also good coffee, both the standard espresso drinks and the Greek coffee.

Kind and funny stuff. Huge portion for a decent price. I asked for extra tzatziki sauce and was so worth it😻😻

Good chicken giros here! But now I think someone takeover and they don’t put enough tomatoes sauce in! Last time order from here and I didn’t see any sauce in my giros. But still good taste and we back soon 🔜 !! ✅

Think this place has been taken over from last year, been using it for a couple of years now and went yesterday Saturday 9th September and we paid £7 each for a chicken gyros and basically it was all chips and hardly any chicken which is only chicken thigh. Very disappointed this time

Delicious food in the market. Good value for money and great choice!! I loved the mixed grill but I thought the lamb gyros had too many chips. I think in the future it’s nicer with fewer chips and slightly more meat
