The Summer Sale was on when my wife & I had a look around this lavish store. We were concentrating on carpets. But the current trend of plain colours is Not our ilk. There were only a few customers inside when we visited which was surprising considering there were serious discounts on selected items.

Lovely store. Good choice of sofas and general furniture for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms. Flooring range is really good and comparable to other independent stores around York. Better quality than most chains. Expensive but good quality and you get what you pay for. Cafe also quite good for light snacks and lunches. Plenty of parking.

Not the corporate feel of some places, certainly the manually filled out receipt takes you back a number of years. Can't fault the pleasant vibes from the sales staff! Stock appears to be wide ranging and a little haphazard, I guess the nature of the business leads to this.

Brilliant service from start to finish, the staff couldn't have been more helpful! We purchased a bed/headboard and mattress with extras. We really appreciated the advice on choosing the right mattress and there was no pressure or rush(we learnt a great deal) Also following our order being placed we had several questions and requests all dealt with exceptionally well. The delivery drivers were professional and great fun. Thank you.

We have just had a new carpet fitted hall, stairs and landing. Brilliant choice of carpets and advice. Measurements and fitting top class along with quality assurance follow up. An excellent professional team and from our experience highly recommended.
