The Gym Group York Foss Island

I go there 5 days per week, nice , not very crowded, but I go at 05:30 in the morning.Quite clean . Just an observation sometimes you have a woman cleaner in the man's locker room and is quite awkward when you come from shower and you see a women and you are half naked. Awkward for her and you maybe embarrassing. Otherwise highly recommended.

I’d never really had much confidence to go to the gym by myself, however by getting involved with the fantastic range of classes they have available it’s really improved confidence in using equipment. I’ve only done a couple of personal training sessions with Sam and I feel lucky to have picked such a genuinely lovely and encouraging person to help me in my fitness goals and despite it only being a short time with him I am already seeing and feeling the improvements! Would definitely recommend him 😁

I had a really great session with Jody today for legs bums and tums. He was really understanding and was super supportive with some of the harder exercises and made me feel super comfortable even though I’m not the healthiest or have the best endurance! 10/10 recommend the session with him and I will definitely be coming again. It was a really good session and I’ll definitely be feeling the burn tomorrow as Jody helped us reach our potential!

Love the classes at the York Gym Group! A lot of options & the instructors always try mix it up for the regulars whilst keeping it achievable for beginners. The lads work really hard & it shows. Shout out to Keaton in particular for his dedication & creativity- his jokes could do with some work though. 😉
