This will Forever be my favourite restaurant to eat at no matter where I live. Been coming here since my 20's now mid 30s , I travelled from Manchester to come for something to eat and I am never disappointed. Amazing staff, food is always full of flavours and the presentation is always on point. Amazing lunch time deals . They use to have live music some nights on an evening with a pianist playing and I believe they still do. If I still lived in York I'd be visiting more regular.

Wonderful food at a great price, great service and a great location in the city. The garden room has an amazing view and the atmosphere is excellent. I've eaten here a few times now and had zero concerns. Thank you

Came here for an evening meal with my girlfriend. The place was extremely busy which was nice. It was a good atmosphere and we enjoyed our meal. The service was exceptional, however the food left a bit to be desired.

It was an amazing experience. The food was delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. All the staff came across as pleasant, professional, and friendly. The manager was aware of our special day and my wife's allergy, and he made sure that every course was taken care of. We had an amazing time.

There was great service and they managed to squeeze us in for dinner last minute. Although a big restaurant it was very busy! It's set in a beautiful historic building. The food was nice Italian food and definitely good but not a knock out.
