Dean's Park

A beautiful small garden. Seating so you can have a rest & look at the glorious York Minster.

Nice little park to walk around and sit. You can see some of the yorkminster building, depending on where you are. Plenty of benches to sit on. It seems it can get busy as we went on a sunny day in September and there was quite a few people there (all socially distancing though so felt very safe)

Nice garden behind the York Minster. Not many people notice that this is the best spot for unblocked view and photos of the Minster.

It was very pleasant visiting this park, where there is a large amount of grass and comfortable benches nearby. There's also a circle at a tree's base that makes for a neat addition, though the shine from this is taken by the old structure that is used as a memorial for royal figures!
