West Bank Park

Its a delightful community green space, full of life, loved and coffee and chat available too. The bowling club is now a community cafe / space. It's full of life when the sun shines!

Love this park. Best Park in York. The play park has a big choice of apparatus for all ages including a zip wire! The woodland walks and benches are all stunning it's like stepping into a scene from a tombraider movie ! And the cafe is so reasonable and friendly. The entire park is very well kept too. We've never seen any litter or dog foul in sight and we go about twice a week.

Probably the most fully featured park of its size. It has a small woods, a large play area, bowling greens, gardens, a pond etc. All are very well maintained. Can get very busy in good weather, as expected, but always worth a visit.

A nice park, some great play things for the kids. The play park is in need of some repair with wooden poles for the kids to climb on rotten, to a point they move around. The zip wire is great fun, though!! The rest of the park is good, but the cafe only has 2 stars for hygiene.

A gorgeous oasis but not just a council park. Once a garden for a mansion it's now a dog friendly place. Woodland areas, children play area, cafe bowls and shady spots. Lots of benches. Really well kept.
