Ashtons Lettings

We rented our apartment in york for 2 years and dealt with ashtons throughout. the service was always excellent and everyone was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

I have rented via ashtons for about 6 years over two properties, and i cannot fault them. everything has always been very smooth, transparent and the staff have been as flexible as they could be with any accommodations to visits they needed to make. finding a lettings agency that is happy to help find a suitable property when you have had less than perfect credit and animals is hard. i also can’t thank them enough for helping me find another property to rent when the landlord of my first needed to sell. i was grateful they could explain to the next landlord that whilst on paper my credit history may seem precarious, the fact that i’d successfully paid rent for 3 years meant that i was not a risk. not that i required many things during my time renting, when something did happen to need assistance (like an unexpected boiler leak or blocked drains), it was provided very quickly. if you are in need of somewhere to rent, don’t hesitate to approach ashtons where i’m sure karen and her team will be able to help. of course there are two sides to the rental market: the tenant and the landlord. ashtons do an extremely good job of straddling the line to make both parties happy. good landlords need good tenants and vice versa. when a good lettings agent is in the mix too, the three are a perfect combination!

Amazing service. my partner and i felt very reassured and comfortable throughout the whole process. any questions or concerns we had were answered and dealt with swiftly. isabel was incredible and we just want to thank her for being so attentive. before we signed for this property we had been set on a different property with a different agency, but we were not as happy with the servce given by the other agency. in comparison after meeting with isabel at the ashtons property, we sent an application in immediately as she was incredible throughout the whole process and the property was great too.

The experience of renting a house in york during the past 13 months through ashtons york was excellent. especially, their representatives, naomi quarton and molly colle were always very professional, efficient and attentive. i definitely highly recommend them.
