Having been recruited by Work with York for some weeks now I can honestly say what a genuine and wholesome experience I've had. Michelle made the process easy with her friendly manner and even called me after my first Adult Carers shift to check how I'd got on and if I was finding it all ok. Whenever I have called into the office everyone is so kind and helpful, you really are a person to them not just a number. There is always someone available and nothing is any bother, it's like an extended family.

I've had to use WWY twice in the past 2 years. On both occasions the process was seamless and I was placed in my desired role. In particular I dealt with Mr Horne, who was very helpful and quick to answer questions and sort issues. I would recommend to anyone looking for work within York and specifically the city of York Council.

The staff are great to work with processing applications. Dont mind getting several calls to make sure that forms are filled in correctly. Kept me advised by phone not email or text Each stage explained clearly and if changes promptly advised what was going on. The advantage was when there were issues from my side I called them and they took everything on board.
