Rice Style

A hidden gem. being just outside the city walls (but only a 15 minute walk from the railways station) this is perhaps somewhere to seek out rather than come across but chance but it's well worth doing just that. a family run business, they are extremely welcoming and accommodating. but the food here is the real star. absolutely delicious authentic thai food. i had the hot and spicy tom yum soup to start and then chicken in basil, garlic and chilli sauce, both of which were amazing. very highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Recently moved to york and managed got lucky with a walk in on a saturday night (you should book as this gets busy). the food was delicious and well presented. i had a stir fry dish which was fragrant and tasty. loved the coconut rice too. my partner had one of their specials which he also enjoyed. delighted to have found such a gem on our doorstep.

Fantastic food, reasonably priced, little gem outside of york main centre

I cannot put enough stars for this place. i have enjoyed every meal i have had. the curries are cooked to perfection, the spices are so awsome, really good balance, the dishes are always well presented and come with good wines. the staff are lovely too, really caring but not overwhelming, everything in this restaurant is just right. cosy inside in winter, lovely decking area to enjoy your meal in the summer. relaxed atmosphere. i strongly recommend!
