This gallery is an integral part of Yorkshire Sculpture Park. It has its own set of exhibitions. You can get a free shuttle bus from the main visitor centre or send your way here on foot via a couple of different routes - with more sculptures along the way. Has a small outside café. Lovely views.

It's difficult to for me to sum up how much I love the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Beautiful park, interesting and often beautiful art. So peaceful in parts, a lovely place to walk...educational...and for only £6.00.

Has different exhibitions from some
A the moment it kind of the violence of art, as in how much art effects you rather than artistic pictures of art
The view from up here are quite stunning from Barnsley over to Huddersfield outskirts

Always a good visit to Yorkshire Sculpture Park and a walk to see what's going on in Longside is a must

Not really happy about this. I struggled to get there - it must be about 1.5 miles, about half of which is uphill, rough and full of trip hazards. There is an easier path, which we didn't know, further on, but still a fair amount of uphill walking. By the time we got there I was exhausted and the only place to sit was a concrete wall. There is a kiosk for drinks but you can't take them inside so don't go unless the weather is good. The gallery is an ugly building and the inside is like a warehouse. I felt sorry for the sculptors, they were worth better.
