Locke Park Cafe

1st time we've been and was very pleased with the everything. The staff were very busy but still had time to make sure everything was OK our the food which was really nice and a great price. Definitely be going again.

We had a lovely lunch today. My granddaughter had chips and chicken nuggets. My husband and I both had ham and cheese panini with side salad and coleslaw. We shared a bowl of chips. Each of us had drinks, hot chocolate, tea and a water. Cost was £18.70. Our little dog was welcomed on a lead. The only down side was I had to ask for the table to be wiped. The food was lovely and tasty. We will visit again.

This is a great quaint little quirky little cafe with lots of charm. The food menu has a good range of hot and cold foods. There are disabled friendly and dog friendly. They have an actual open fire which makes it different to most. The fact that this is in a beautiful park surroundings is amazing. Seating can be found inside and outside. The cade is clean tidy and well equipped and maintained. The staff are a nice bunch very friendly and helpful. I fully recommend this establishment you will not be disabled and the prices are fair.

Visited on Wed 15th Feb , not the best experience, went inside to order food no acknowledgement at first then finally I got asked if I was eating inside , I said no , to which I got you need to queue outside . Food arrived ordered pizza n cheese n onion toastie , none existent cheese n the pizza didn't taste great n cheese just dropped off , waited 40 mins , took toastie back , 15mins later I got a refund . Won't be back again , customer service is diabolical. EDIT: In response to the owners comments 3 one star reviews from 3 unhappy customers. It's no hassle reporting online as that's quicker than speaking to your staff and hopefully the picture will warn others about the poor quality of your ' lovely' food .

Amazing park..Great play ground..everyone happy 😊 the sun is shining!!! waiting time for 4 sausage rolls was a disappointment...the children were about to eat each other!! they were worth the wait though..
