Travelodge Basingstoke

Clean good value hotel room. Tea and coffee facilities provided. Reception staff polite and helpful. Very quiet at night.

Typical Travelodge experience with friendly, helpful staff but as with most Travelodge hotels the property itself could do with being refurbished. We had 2 rooms and as usual they were very clean and tidy.

Room was quite cold, but the bed was surprisingly comfy! Much more comfy than many much more 'premium' hotels I've stayed at

Right next to a busy road so traffic noise most of the time. Basic room in bad need if modernisation/refit. Bed was comfy and clean. The staff do their best to compensate for the lack of investment. If anyone from Travelodge actually reads these then take note, your staff do more for the brand than any amount of accounts and business consultants ever will. They are your greatest asset!

Good location. Clean comfortable mattress. Slightly damp and housekeeping rooted through my bag and helped themselves to some of my belongings. First time this has happened to me at a travel lodge. Best avoid this one.
