Interesting place - good value for money. Family of 2 adults & 3 children £21.50. The green houses are lovely, although smaller than I’d imagined. The play area is quite big & good for toddlers up to about 10 year olds. The gardens are beautiful, but we felt they needed a little more care…although I am aware we are just out of the winter season. The aviary also stood out as needing some attention. Cafe was very busy & pricey, but the cake & coffee was delicious. Garden centre was lovely…bespoke gifts, plants, children’s pocket money toys, jewellery etc. Parking is £3 - it’s not a big car park so I imagine at busier times it gets full. Over all we stayed 2.5 hours.

Great place offering a delightful escape into nature. With its diverse plant collection, well-designed landscapes, and educational programs, it provides a rich and engaging experience for visitors of all ages. Whether you are a plant enthusiast, nature lover, or simply seeking a tranquil retreat, this botanical garden is definitely worth a visit.

The Birmingham botanical garden is a great place to visit on a holiday. We went there for an official event (A graduation ball). This was held in one of the big halls at the centre of the garden complex. There is ample car parking and if you are taking a cab, you can get dropped right at the entrance. The place has a large variety of flora with appropriate markings and descriptions. If you are planning a formal meet or event, this is the most ambient place you can suggest in the whole of Birmingham. At night gardens are illuminated with colourful lights and the whole place uplifts your mood with the cool winds and clean air.

Had the most incredible day out. I live quite deep in the city and often struggle to find green space to take in nature and relax. This was more than expected, huge grounds, beautiful well kept spaces, the sounds, the smells were just perfect. I would recommend. Ticket was £7.50 for a day pass

I think I'll add myself to all the other thousand of amazing people who enjoyed their time here. You can take 50 million photos and still not be enough of this fabulous natural garden. I loved the whole experience. It's highly worth the money you pay. The staff all throughout the garden do an amazing job to keep it well maintained. I noticed a lot of wedding couple here coming for their photoshoots. It's just so natural. You will do a lot of walking around; so good to say to wear strong footwear. They also have other functions going on throughout the year. This tome was the music festival of the 1920's. The last entry is around 3.30pm. There's also a cafeteria which do some amazing cakes and tea. Not too expensive too. To end the tour, they had a souvenir shop which you can buy various small gifts, bags etc or like a small house plants or some fancy stones. Overall, it was a lovely experience and can't complain.
