Pizza Hut

Ate here tonight and although the food was ok, it was not a great experience. We were seated at table 1 by the entrance door. The restaurant was busy and people were queuing for tables. Our issue was that they were queuing through the open entrance door and we were freezing at our table. I did try asking the queuing people if they could close the door but my request was met with abuse. I then spoke to the greeter (who may have been the manager?), but this made little difference. We ended up having to eat our meals with our coats on!! After a while another employee was going round asking people if if their food was ok. We complained again to her and she spoke to the manager and then returned to offer us a free hot dessert or coffee. Because we were so cold we accepted coffee, which did warm us up a bit but we didn’t finish our food and left soon after. As I said at the start, the food was ok, our issue was with being seated right in front of the entrance door, in December in the middle of a cold snowy snap. Incidentally, the people at the table behind us were so cold they actually asked to be moved (mid meal) to another table upstairs so we were definitely not exaggerating. We would not recommend sitting at table 1 (or presumably table 2) if you decide to eat at this restaurant in winter. We will definitely not be back, and it will probably be a long time before we eat in ANY Pizza Hut after this disappointing experience. Really spoiled our evening.

We visited on the evening of 1st July. My son's pizza wasn't cooked properly so we were promised a replacement in 5 minutes which I had to chase twice. It eventually turned up 20 minutes later when everyone else had finished their meal. The waitress said the manager would come and speak to us about it. No sign of the manager and when I asked to see him when we were leaving, he just stood there not speaking snd seemed unaware of the situation despite the waitress having said that he would come and speak to us about it. I explained what had happened and he promised we would be refunded some of our bill which was obviously a lie because we've received nothing nearly a week later.

Always great experiences / food at Pizza Hut, BUT, I don't use the app in the restaurant to order because I haven't worked out if there is a way to order a pizza without an ingredient, i.e. no olives. However, the lady who took our order and told us of the drinks offers in place was very good indeed, counting to an all round great experience and a magnificent feast.

Little overpriced for the money but giving 5* overall because of the staff member, gentleman with long hair, worked there on Thursday evening upstairs, only gent up there with 2 females. Was friendly, welcoming, brilliant 5/5*. He either was new or loves working there. But seriously. Thanks! Myself and my daughter enjoyed the food, quick service and friendliness. Daughter said the spaghetti bol was nearly better than mine, otherwise I was taking off a *. Thanks.

Service was not the best, but having worked for Pizza Hut myself, I am aware that their restaurants are run by as few staff as possible and in very poor conditions - considering that, the food was delicious and everybody in my party left full and very satisfied.
