The Urban Spa - Hair salon, beauty and nails.

I visited urban spa for the first time and had a great hair cut by Sarah and lovely manicure by Lucy. They really knew what they were doing and were very friendly and proessional. It is a gorgeous place and fabulous staff.

Walked in without an appointment and managed to fit me in. Very friendly without being over the top.. Appreciated why I only required a dry cut and price extremely reasonable compared to other town hairdressers. Will definitely use again.

I had the pleasure of having a facial and massage with Kate. Having listened to my needs Kate was able to work on my knots but also identify other things I should be aware of. It was pure bliss - very relaxing and wonderful healing hands. I am a spa regular and it is hard to find therapists this good. I will be back, and thanks for all the advice Kate!

Wasn't going to post a negative review but want to warn anyone thinking about putting their trust in the salon. My appointment was with Jo for a cut and colour. I gave her clear idea of what I wanted and even had several photos which were realistic to achieve. However after I left the salon my scalp started blistering and was so painful, it was throbbing! This has never happened to me before. I messaged the owner to explain as wanted to give her the chance to handle without having to do this. An appointment was made for me to have a scalp treatment a week later. I messaged the day before to confirm still ok to go and also would she check the cut as one side is considerably longer than the other at the back layers! I even offered to pay. I could see the message was read on fb but I didn't receive a reply. I run a business and wouldn't dream of ignoring a customer with a problem, during working hours or not! She finally messaged me 20 minutes after my appointment time 1.15pm, despite her having been in work all morning. I felt ignored, fobbed off and taken for a fool. Trust me people, avoid this salon. Oh and for the privilege I paid £77 for roots and a shockingly bad cut and finish.

Beth is an incredible stylist- I absolutely love my hair. I was made to feel comfortable from the moment I walked into the salon, very personable and friendly lady. I will definitely be returning and I would absolutely recommend Beth's services to anyone.
