LCC's Chorley Household Waste Recycling Centre

My wife went here today to dispose of some rubbish. It was really heavy and she asked one of the guys in hi-viz jackets to help. No one did. One idiot 'helped' by sneering 'you can do it, you can do it' as she struggled. Well done lads...you must be really proud of yourselves....... I assume that 'health and safety' means you cannot help a woman of small stature and all you can do is stand around chatting and rummaging through other peoples rubbish for stuff to take home. Useless.

Whilst emptying my car another vehicle reversed into my car forcing my car back onto me. Not a serious accident and only a tiny bit of damage but not one member of staff offered me any help or even checked if I was ok. I obviously was shocked as my head was inside my car when it was hit and my vehicle was pushed up the kerb I was standing on. The staff stood by the next bin never approached at all just watched on. Thankyou to the kind bystanders who offered to help me empty the remaining items .

I find every time I go to drop house old waste off, the staff are very friendly and happy to help in pointing you to the right skip or even helping you to unload your vehicle.

A brilliant place to recycle ♻️ all house hold waste, well marked according to waste and the staff are very friendly, easy usage and well organised. Very impressive and nicely managed 👍🏿. Many cities need to incorporate this.

Staff were very helpful, had to dispose of some vapes and they didn't hesitate to help, would gladly recommend them!
